Casa de blănuri MG is among the first 20 brands included in the Furmark certification program, a global system for monitoring the sustainability of natural furs, guaranteeing adherence to animal welfare and environmental standards. The program meets consumer demand for a universal mark that certifies the quality of a natural fur product, as the Furmark label assures customers they are buying a superior-quality item.
Each Furmark-certified product comes with a label containing a unique code and a QR code. By scanning it and entering the unique code into the system, the customer can see precisely where the fur originates, its quality, the auction where it was traded, the location where it was tanned or dyed, and the atelier that manufactured it.
Only farms that meet Furmark standards are certified and allowed to sell furs at auction, and the processing must be done exclusively in certified tanneries that use environmentally and human-safe substances. Additionally, to earn the Furmark label, the final product must be created in an atelier that has passed an assessment by FACT, an independent regulatory body.
